What you need to know about the Benhall open space

Benhall is a small district in the town of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. It is located south of the town centre, south of the A40, which is the main road from Cheltenham to Gloucester. The area is home to many families and is an excellent place to live. For more information on the area, read below.

The Benhall open space is located south of the town centre and is approximately nine hectares in size. It includes broad-leaved woodland and a stream, which splits in two on the eastern side. Most of the site is amenity grassland, which is constantly mowed and reduces the diversity of species. However, there is a proposal to convert this area into a wildflower meadow. The consultation period is currently open, and the outcome of the process is expected by the end of May 2019.
